This post is espcially addressed to my fellow students at Haaga-Helia and friends in Finland.
To broaden my horizon and learn more about the players and regulations in international development, I will take some courses of the "UniPID- Finnish University Partnership for International Development" this autumn.
The network has launched a virtual programm in development and sustainability consisting of 25 ECTS that students of certain study programs at universities within the UniPID network can take. Additionally to those students that can take the courses for free, some courses are open to anybody interested. For those people, the 1,5 to 2 month long online-courses cost up to 80€.
Here are some of the courses and links to their descriptions:

- Globalisation and Corporate Responsibility
- International Development Cooperation
- United Nations and Human Rights
- Public Health Issues in Global Context
Maybe this is also an intersting cooperation for Haaga-Helia UAS as a member. Even though it is not a University as such, the high number of international students, especially from Africa and China could be an asset and thus the interst in courses and research on that topic could be rather high.
